The family of Jim Starks will be hosting two memorial fundraisers in honor of Jim Starks and in an effort to raise money for his headstone.  Jim passed away on January 5, 2009 in a work accident at Dogwood Lake Campground in Warrenton and will forever be missed. This is truly a tragedy that such a great man's life was taken at the age of 53.  

Jim Starks was a great well rounded hero to a lot of people. He will be a missed husband, son, dad, brother, uncle and much more. He was a friend to everyone and would do anything to stop and help someone in need. He took pride in his family and work. He had a great passion for hunting elk, deer, turkey, squirrel, and anything that ran across his path. He enjoyed Dogwood Lake, a mix of relaxation and work, but that is what he loved. He enjoyed his family and friends the most, to see his family happy and together meant a lot to him and that showed with his great smile and wonderful laugh.

We are having a Trivia Night on August 29, 2009 at Schuetzenground Hall in Warrenton at 6:30 p.m. There will also be a Golf Tournament on October 10, 2009 at the Warrenton Golf Course at 1:00 p.m. We hope you can participate in the events, if you know any golfers or anyone who likes trivia nights, please pass the information below along.  Please do not hesitate to call with any question or concerns.
